Ensemble Coaching is for chamber ensembles who will be coached by different festival musicians each week. We welcome applications from experienced players seeking to refine their ensemble techniques with the guidance of a renowned MITV festival musician.
Our annual masterclass is an opportunity for Napa’s student musicians to receive artistic and technical guidance from MITV’s Artistic Directors and festival musicians. Experience how professional artists mentor and support the next generation of musicians, sharing their craft and passion for chamber music. Supporting students from the Napa Valley Youth Symphony, the Paulin Center for the Arts, and other local music programs, this masterclass is free for both participants and audience members.

The performance concludes with the audience joining the artists for a play-along of Pachelbel’s popular Canon in D, welcoming everyone in the community to join the fun. Since the 2025 festival season, our Fellowship String Quartet offers free performances throughout downtown Napa at venues such as Napa Bookmine, First Street Napa, Barnhouse, the Napa Public Library, and Folklore.
Each year, our Fellowship String Quartet presents interactive performances for adult day health programs, retirement and assisted living communities, and young children at Boys & Girls Clubs throughout the Napa Valley. Bringing music beyond the concert hall is a vital part of our mission—fostering connection, joy, and inspiration for audiences and performers alike.
