House a Musician

Each year our generous patrons up and down the valley donate accommodations for all our musicians in their homes or guest houses. This gives the musicians the opportunity to become part of the Napa community and gives patrons a chance to interact with our musicians. To thank our housing hosts, we offer free tickets to a concert of their choice.

Housing Requests:

One-Week or Two-Week stay during August 2023

Our musicians need a private bedroom and bathroom, space to relax and practice their instrument, space to prepare light meals, and a parking spot. Musicians have a very full rehearsal schedule and are out all day rehearsing and then performing in the evenings at the end of the week. Musicians are expected to provide their own food during their stay, and do not require any transportation.

Most of our musicians are either single or couples, and are not looking for family accommodations. Some of the musicians know each other very well and are happy to share a house together. We do have pianists staying every week so if you have a piano that you don’t mind being used that would also be much appreciated!

The housing requirement information lays out the requirements involved in having a musician to stay and also includes a sample sheet laying out the information you might consider supplying for guests.

If you are able to help with housing, please complete the Housing Host Form and return it via email to: info@musicinthevineyards.org or by fax: 707 258 5566 or give us a call: 707 258 5559.

Health & Safety

We are planning for an in-person festival this year while also following all the California State, Napa County and CDC Guidelines. If you are able to consider hosting someone this year we would be extremely grateful and please know that our musicians will be vaccinated for COVID.

When you donate to Music in the Vineyards, you ensure that the Festival will continue to enrich people’s lives through the power of music.
