Your contributions and passion for Music in the Vineyards do make a difference to our success!  Join us in ensuring that great music will continue to thrive in the Napa Valley by making a tax deductible contribution to express your support - even the smallest donations add up.  Your funds will be used to help bring outstanding artists to the festival each summer and to help with our community activities.  2019 is our 25th Anniversary season and we have a variety of ways that both individual donors and sponsors can be involved.  For a downloadable list of all our sponsorship opportunities please click here.

Listed below are our most popular donor categories. 

       Music in the Vineyards reaches a large number of affluent residents who are interested in the arts, classical music, wine and the Napa Valley. According to our patron surveys, our average patron is 40-70 years of age with an annual household income of at least $120,000. This enticing, upscale, annual event could be your opportunity to support a local, non-profit arts organization and reach an ideal market for your corporation. Sponsorship income allows Music in the Vineyards to maintain the high artistic standards for which it has become internationally known and helps support free concerts, open rehearsals, a solo instrumental competition and scholarships for young Napa Valley musicians. This year, we are offering multiple levels of sponsorship for Music in the Vineyards complete with valuable advertising, public relations and community outreach benefits.

PLATINUM FESTIVAL PATRON - $25,000

♪         Receive an invitation for two to an exclusive concert & reception with the Dover String Quartet plus VIP donor and artist
           events.

♪          Underwrite the expenses of one festival concert of your choice.

♪          Cover the engagement fees for one week for four festival musicians.

♪          Receive eight front row seats for concerts of your choice.

 

GOLD FESTIVAL PATRON - $10,000

 ♪         Receive invitations for two to VIP donor and artist events.

♪          Underwrite the expenses of one festival concert.

♪          Cover the engagement fees for one week for two festival musicians.

♪          Receive four front row seats for concerts of your choice.

 

SILVER CONCERT SPONSOR - $7,500

 ♪         Receive invitations for two to VIP donor and artist events.

♪          Underwrite the expenses of one festival concert.

♪          Receive four front row seats for concerts of your choice.

 

BRONZE CONCERT SPONSORS - $5,000

 ♪         Receive invitations for two to VIP donor and artist events.

♪          Co-Underwrite the expenses of one festival concert.

ADOPT AN ARTIST - $2,500

Contribute to the engagement fee of one musician for one week. In thanks you will receive and invitation for two to meet your musician at a special artists' dinner.

 

OTHER GIVING OPPORTUNITIES

Stradivarius: Gifts of $1,000 to $2,499         

Guarnerius: Gifts of $250 to $999.

Amici: Gifts up to $249

As part of our 25th Anniversary celebrations we are honoring the contribution of our founders Gail and Harry Adams.  If you would like your donation to be in their honor, please indicate when you make your donation on the website.  Donors will be acknowledged in our program, both within our annual donor page, and as part of a special section designated for this fund.


SPRING RELEASE PARTY

For 25th Anniversary Festival contributors of $5,000 and above.  Join us for an exciting, first-ever spring get-together with Artistic Directors, Michael and Daria Adams, announcing the 2019 Festival program and Apprentice String Quartet winners.  Further details will be supplied in your donor acknowledgement letter.


All gifts are tax deductible and acknowledged in the Festival Program Book and in the Festival website.  Music in the Vineyards also accepts matching gifts from corporate employers.

 

IN KIND DONATIONS

  • Open up your home or guest home to provide accommodation for our artists during the festival.
  • Volunteer to help at Music in the Vineyards and/or Gardens in the Vineyards.
  • Become a wine partner and donate wine for pouring at our Gardens in the Vineyards Party, Music in the Vineyards Closing Night Celebration and our major donor events.

FOR THE LOVE OF MUSIC -  THE MAESTRO CIRCLE, OUR LEGACY GIFT PROGRAM

The Maestro Circle honors individuals who are providing for Music in the Vineyards with a gift in their wills or other estate planning documents. All legacy gifts are segregated in an income producing fund that ensures the Festival will continue to be a lasting source of enjoyment for future generations. 

If you have made a gift to the Festival as part of your will or estate plan, please inform Music in the Vineyards, so we can recognize your commitment through membership in the Maestro Circle. Maestro Circle members will be acknowledged annually in the Festival's summer program and other printed materials which are distributed at all concerts during the season. 

GIVING OPTIONS

  • Bequests - You can specify in your will either a dollar amount or percentage of your estate that you wish to go to the Festival, while you retain the use of all of your assets during your lifetime.
  • Life Insurance - You can transfer ownership of a paid-up life insurance policy, receiving an immediate tax deduction, and eliminating taxes at the time of your death
  • Retirement Benefits - Naming the Festival as beneficiary of an IRA or other retirement plan assets will result in eliminating significant estate and income taxes at the time of your death.
