Concert Host Michael Adams will be joined by the brilliant cello and piano duo of Edward Arron and Jeewon Park as they explore the world of one of the last great Russian Romantics, Sergei Rachmaninoff. Step into Rachmaninoff’s world – a period of great upheaval in the 20th century – while he was recovering from deep depression and creative paralysis.
This program features excerpts from Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Cello Sonata, Vocalise, and Prelude in C-sharp minor for Piano.
