Apply Now: 2026 Fellowship String Quartet

Pavone String Quartet (2025)

Music in the Vineyards, Napa’s premier chamber music festival, is now accepting applications for the 2026 Fellowship String Quartet Program, a three-week residency in the heart of Napa Valley. The festival takes place every August in beautiful winery settings in the Napa Valley and showcases acclaimed musicians and distinguished string quartets.

One aspiring string quartet will be chosen to join our roster of over 30 professional musicians—including the Isidore Quartet in 2026—for three weeks of intensive mentoring and performance opportunities. In addition to rehearsing and performing their own repertoire, the 2026 Fellowship String Quartet will have opportunities to perform alongside festival artists on our main festival concert series. The 2025 quartet was the Pavone String Quartet, currently enrolled at Rice University’s Shepherd School of Music in Houston, Texas.

"One of the Top Seven summer chamber music festivals in the U.S."
