LOT 3: Cases & Cabot

Cabot CreameryWe’ve taken the concept of wine and cheese and dialed it up a few points – 94 to be exact (on Robert Parker’s scale). Enjoy two cases of incredible Napa Valley wine, along with a generous gift basket from Cabot Creamery. Details below.

  • Caymus Vineyards 2015 NV Cabernet Sauvignon (1 Case) 94 points (RP) | 92 Points (WW) This wine has a signature style that is dark in color, with rich fruit and ripe, velvety tannins – as approachable in youth as in maturity. This Cabernet offers layered, lush aromas and flavors, including cocoa, cassis and ripe dark berries.
  • Dalla Valle 2011 Collina Red Wine (1 Case) 93 points (Vinous) A blend of 57% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. Structured and dense, the wine is polished and fine-grained. With notes of red raspberry, confectioner's sugar, vanilla, and all spice, it has a viscosity and length that is remarkable. This wine will provide enjoyment immediately and will age for 15-20 years.
  • Gift Basket from Cabot Creamery The farm families that own Cabot Creamery Co-operative love what they do. And they’ve been doing it for a long time—every single day since 1919. They have thriving farms, strong communities, and happy, healthy cows that produce the rich, buttery milk that they use to make Cabot’s award-winning cheese and dairy products. Take home a generous gift basket filled with a variety of cheeses, as well as The Cabot Creamery Cookbook.

Opening Bid: $800

Donors:  Caymus Vineyards, Dalla Valle Vineyards, Cabot Creamery Co-operative

LOT 4: Fund-A-Need

Our audience has spoken, and we have listened: no more uncomfortable seating! We invite you to take a load off, have a seat, and help invest in the overall experience of a Music in the Vineyards concert. Our goal is to purchase new, ultra comfortable, movable chairs for all of our concerts. The MityLite Flex One folding chairs feature an ergonomic, ventilated design, and seat/backrests that flex to the body's contours and minimize pressure points. Help us make sure we have enough comfortable seating for everyone with this fund-a-need.
