Thanks to each and every one of our festival patrons, donors, sponsors, musicians, board members and MITV staff for making our 2020 MITV@HOME festival a big success! Countless hours of scheduling logistics, video editing, and production coordination went into our first-ever virtual concert series, and we want to take a moment to introduce you to the people behind the scenes who made it all possible.

A fun packed introduction to the String Quartet for ages 4 to 12 performed by Music in the Vineyards 2020 Apprentice String Quartet, The Solideo Quartet.
2020 is Music in the Vineyards' 26th season, our first completely virtual festival and the 3rd year of our Apprentice String Quartet community outreach program that aims to increase the accessibility of chamber music with a series of free recitals. 2020 winners, The Solideo Quartet from the Jacobs School of Music were selected by national competitive video audition in January. They were expecting to come to Napa for a three week stay with coaching from MITV resident ensembles, the artistic directors and festival musicians and participation in an intensive performance program of free outreach performances to the Napa Valley community.
Due to our switch to a virtual festival, The Solideo Quartet received coaching via zoom with MITV Artistic Director, Daria Adams and have crafted this exclusive video from their homes to share with our young Music in the Vineyards Community.
The Solideo Quartet:
Heather Beckman, violin
Joshelle Conley, violin
William Satterfield, viola
Jun Lee, cello
