In 2005, Chick received the prestigious White House News Photographers' Association (WHNPA) Lifetime Achievement Award for his extensive photography career including 16 years at AP, more than 20 years as Chief Photographer of U.S. News and World Report and 33 years as a member of the White House press corps. Since retiring in 2001, Chick now resides in Calistoga, CA where he continues his artistic endeavors and regularly donates his time and photography skills to Music in the Vineyards and countless other local organizations. His work for Music in the Vineyards can be viewed at www.whimsyworks.net.
