Artistic Directors: Michael & Daria Adams

Daria Adams, Co-Artistic Director
Daria Adams celebrates her 16th year as Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Music in the Vineyards. She has been a violinist with the St. Paul Chamber Orchestra since 1987. Prior to joining the SPCO, Daria was a soloist with the New America Chamber Orchestra, performing in Europe, Scandinavia and the United States. She is a graduate of the New England Conservatory and SUNY Stony Brook and has appeared as a guest artist at chamber music festivals in France; Finland; Nantucket; Banff; Madison, Wisconsin; Newport, Rhode Island; Steamboat Springs, Colorado and at the Cactus Pear Music Festival, Texas. She has formed the Blue Baroque Band, which made its debut at the 2006 Music in the Vineyards Festival.

Michael Adams, Co-Artistic Director
Michael Adams celebrates his 16th year as Founder and Co-Artistic Director of Music in the Vineyards. He has been a violist with the Minnesota Orchestra since 1989 and hosts the orchestra's "Adventures in Music" family concert series. Prior to joining the MO, Adams was a producer and program host for WCAL-FM in Northfield, Minnesota and for Minnesota Public Radio. He is a graduate of the Eastman School of Music and has performed with the Santa Fe Opera, the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, the Oklahoma Symphony Orchestra, the Denver Chamber Orchestra and the Aspen Music Festival. Michael and Daria live in Minneapolis and have three children.
