Each April, five hosts in the heart of wine country graciously open the doors of their stunning homes for Kitchens in the Vineyards, Napa Valley's favorite home tour, benefiting Music in the Vineyards. We will announce the 2015 Kitchens in the Vineyards Home & Garden Tour here early in 2015, so please check back early next year. The event is typically held on the last Friday and Saturday in April.
Take a look at the five exquisite homes of the 2014 Kitchens in the Vineyards Home and Garden Tour below:
This prefabricated and highly efficient smart home was craned in with sleek appliances and finishes in place. Landscape designer Josh Chandler worked his magic on the grounds, which offer several entertaining spaces, a bocce court, an edible garden, and a tastefully remodeled barn.
Built in 2012 on the site of an old lodge, this light and airy farmhouse effortlessly balances clean lines and modern elements with rich, organic textures. The interior utilizes repurposed cabinets and doors, and the exterior offers a pool and sweeping views of the valley.
|Arts & Crafts Revival
Originally built in the 1920s, this family home was extensively remodeled in 2008 with a great room and expansive windows to highlight the gardens. Lime-washed redwood, exposed beams, a tennis court, pool, and antique finishes complete the space.
This ground-up renovation honors the indoor/outdoor lifestyle of the valley. Despite its modest footprint, this design show house packs a punch with clever touches including a reclaimed wood wall, blackened oyster shell fireplace, and male portraiture collection.
This family residence emulates the warmth of a Northern Italian country farmhouse. A team of 15 artisans over four years handcrafted elements from stucco, stone, brick, and distressed wood. The exterior offers a kitchen, pool, fountain, bocce court, and formal gardens.
W\e look forward to seeing you in 2015!
